The magician draws a picture on a sketch pad, the  drawing is then placed inside of the empty cabinet, the front door of the cabinet is then closed, the magician points at the box and when doing so a light comes on inside of the box. After the light comes on a shadow of the object the magician drew, can be seen dancing around on the inside of the cabinet. The magician then points again at the box and this time the light goes out. When he opens the front of the cabinet, he shows that the drawing he made, has come to life and turned into a real object.

 

This illusion can be done surrounded and used as a utility prop to produce a number of different things.
